Hazel F. D. Schulz, age 98 of Clintonville, WI passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at the New London Family Medical Center.
Hazel was born on July 14, 1915 in Poskin, WI as the daughter of the late James T. and Mathilda (Strand) Fay. Hazel was united in marriage to Raymond L. Schulz on December 12, 1936 in Clintonville where they continued to live the rest of their lives. Raymond preceded Hazel in death on June 27, 1980. Throughout their years together, Hazel and Raymond traveled extensively. Following Raymond’s passing, Hazel accomplished their goal of traveling to all 50 states. Hazel also traveled to 7 foreign countries and the island of Nassau. She was a charter member and past president of the Clintonville Lioness, a charter member of the Clintonville Duplicate Bridge Club, and a longtime member of the Clintonville Women’s Club holding several offices throughout her tenure. Hazel also enjoyed gardening and taking care of her home.
Survivors include numerous family members and friends including her niece, Gloria Koschmann, of North Little Rock, AR. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 11 AM at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory in Clintonville with Rev. Daniel Burns officiating. Interment will be at the Graceland Cemetery also in Clintonville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of the service.
