Weyauwega library offers children’s programs

Babygarten will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, at the Weyauwega Public Library.

The program includes rhymes, songs, finger pays, bounces, books and a simple craft.

Toddler/Babygarten will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, and Rhyme Time will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Rhyme Time includes learning a nursery rhyme through crafts, movement, music, drama and rhymes.

Story Time will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29 and includes stories and an easy craft project.

Children of all ages are invited to attend the programs, which are adapted based on the ages of the children.

Copies of the book “Weyauwega” are still available for purchase, at the library.

The book should be paid for when it is picked up. The cost is $23.20 when it is picked up at the library and $26 when it is shipped.

Checks should be payable to the Weyauwega Public Library.

Part of the proceeds will benefit the library.

The Milwaukee Bucks Read to Achieve program begins on Thursday, Jan. 2 and runs through the end of February.

Children in third through tenth grade may participate and may read enough pages to earn a free ticket to a Milwaukee Bucks game.

The next prize drawing for the library’s adult reading program, Biblio Bingo, will be on Wednesday, Jan. 15.

There is still time for adults to sign up and participate.
