A Christmas tree bonfire and chili potluck will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at E5227 Little River Road, Weyauwega.
Sponsored by the Wolf River Area Optimist Club, the family friendly event is open to the public and will include winter games.
The Wolf River Area Optimist Club was chartered as a club in December and seeks to help youth and the community. The newly formed club also hosted Breakfast with Santa last month in Fremont.
Families who want to donate their Christmas trees for the bonfire are asked to drop them off at the Little River Road address prior to 6 p.m. on the day of the event.
