Clussman best qualified to be next circuit judge

As a former resident of Waupaca, I have an interest in the election of a new circuit court judge.

More than once I have personally been impressed with the professionalism of Vicki Taggatz Clussman.

Inexplicable to me is the apparent focus on her financial situations.

To put it in baseball terms, there are certain ballplayers whose off-field ventures can surely be a distraction, but as a fan, I am only concerned with how they do their job “between the foul lines.”

She has not denied a single fact that has been brought to light. Further, she has explained how things are generally progressing.

Most telling to me was her decision not to take an easy out by filing for bankruptcy, choosing instead to deal with her debts in an honorable way.

I, too, have had to meet a similar crossroad and my empathy for Ms. Taggatz Clussman only adds to my admiration.

I have perused all materials concerning this judicial campaign. Not once did I see any hint this is an election for the most perfect person.

My take is that the purpose of this election is to select the candidate whom voters believe is the best qualified. I believe Vicki Taggatz Clussman is the best qualified and most in touch with those she would be serving.

I believe she knows and cares about her community at least as well as anyone else one could name.

My only regret is I am no longer a resident and therefore, I cannot cast my own vote in support.

Please consider voting for Vicki Taggatz Clussman for circuit court judge.
