Central Wisconsin Trout Unlimited will present a special program on central Wisconsin’s Mecan River.
Shawn Sullivan of the state Department of Natural Resources and Scott Bahn, CWTU’s workday chairman, will discuss the Mecan River at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, at the Fin ‘n’ Feather in Winneconne. Sullivan will touch on the river’s fishery, while Bahn will discuss work on the river.
Local anglers will also share some of their favorite techniques to fish the river, which flows through Waushara County. A large map of the river with areas of interest will also be displayed.
The program is free and the public is invited to attend.
