Jensen to meet with Packers

Former Waupaca High School quarterback Brock Jensen will reportedly work out Tuesday, April 15, for the Green Bay Packers.

Jensen, a senior at North Dakota State in Fargo, led the Bison to three straight Football Championship Series national championships and posted a 47-5 record in college.

According to the Green Bay Press-Gazette, the Packers are utilizing one of their 30 predraft official visits on Jensen. He will work out for the Packers April 15 in Fargo and is scheduled to travel to Green Bay for a visit shortly thereafter.

Jensen also led Waupaca to an undefeated WIAA Division 3 state championship season as a senior in 2008 and ended his career with the Bison as the winningest quarterback in NCAA Division I FCS history.

Jensen confirmed April 8 on Twitter that he has upcoming visits scheduled with the Packers, as well as the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals.

“I will be visiting the Browns!” he wrote. “The Bengals! The Packers! So blessed! Excited for this great opportunity!”
