• May 10 – A motorcyclist was injured in a one-vehicle incident at about 11 a.m. in the town of Union.
Joseph Troiber, 52, of Waupaca was driving eastbound on State Highway 161 near Flatter Road when he failed to negotiate a curve. The driver lost control and the motorcycle entered the south ditch, striking a stop sign and causing damage.
According to the police report, Troiber was traveling too fast for conditions and was not wearing a helmet.
