Traffic stop leads to felony arrest

Luke A. Kleinke, 33, Oshkosh, was charged in Waupaca County Circuit Court with felony possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Shortly before 7 p.m. on May 10, State Trooper Kendi Linjer stopped a vehicle on U.S. Highway 10 after seeing the driver put on his seat belt.

Waupaca County Sheriff’s Deputy Nick Traeger arrived with his dog, which subsequently alerted for the presence of drugs.

According to the criminal complaint, the officers found a trace amount of marijuana in a pill bottle and a pot pipe.

Kleinke faces a felony charge in Waupaca County due to a prior marijuana conviction in 1999 in Winnebago County and a disorderly conduct conviction in 2011 in Outagamie County.
