Waupaca man charged with felony theft

Ryan S. Lubinski, 29, Waupaca, is charged with two counts of misdemeanor theft and one count of felony theft.

He is accused of stealing from his in-laws while they were away for a weekend in June.

Lubinski allegedly stole a handgun, a rifle, two chain saws, a GPS unit, a laptop computer, several power tools and a fishing rod.

When Detective Sgt. Brian Hoelzel checked the records of area pawn shops, he reported finding that Lubinski had sold four firearms to a pawn shop in Grand Chute.
