Dale E. Barlow, age 86, of Waupaca, WI, passed away on Monday, July 21st, 2014 at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah, WI.
Dale was born in Waupaca on October 2, 1927, a son of the late William and Ruth (Linn) Barlow. He lived in Rural on the farm his whole life. He loved farming, hunting and playing cards. Dale married Crystal Thompson on August 4, 1945 in the Town of Dayton, Waupaca Co., WI. He worked for Hoffman and P.G. Miron. He was superintendent for the construction of the Waupaca County Courthouse and consultant for the architect for the Waupaca Library.
Survivors include his wife, Crystal Barlow, Waupaca, WI; sons: Dale (Lynda) Barlow, Waupaca, WI; Bruce (Jean) Barlow, Waupaca, WI; Brian (Susan) Barlow, Scandinavia, WI; 8 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son – David, 1 sister and 5 brothers.
Funeral Services will be held at Parfreyville United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 25th, 2014 with Brenda Hewitt and Reverend Robert Blackburn, officiating. Interment will be in Rural Cemetery, Town Dayton, Waupaca Co, WI. Visitation will be on Friday, from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in the name of Dale E. Barlow. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca assisted the family with arrangements.
