Manawa set for Homecoming

Little Wolf High School will celebrate Homecoming the week of Sept. 22-27.

The Homecoming Court includes: Seniors – Autumn Ferg and Tristan Canterbury, Ashlee Strebe and Jake Kaczorowski, Katie Velie and Adam Langman; juniors – Chloe Koehn and Daryn Claussen; sophomores – Haley Reierson and Zach Kreklow; freshmen – Morgyn Zielke and Garrett Bristol.

The Homecoming king and queen will be crowned by last year’s royalty, Haley Ingersoll and Shwan Hoeft.

The dress up days and activity schedule for the week are listed below.

• Monday, Sept. 22, Dress for Success Day: High school picture day; junior varsity football versus Pacelli; bonfire at 7:30 p.m. in front of high school.

• Tuesday, Sept. 23, Generations Day: Freshmen – babies; Sophomores – toddlers; Juniors – middle aged; Seniors – senior citizens; volleyball at Amherst.

• Wednesday, Sept. 24, Class Colors Day: Freshmen – green and brown; Sophomores – pink and gray; Juniors – purple and white; Seniors – red and black; Wednesday Night Games begin at 5 p.m. at the high school: Capture the flag, powderpuff football, eating contest, boys’ volleyball, slip and slide.

• Thursday, Sept. 25, Thrift Shop Day; junior varsity volleyball quad at Shiocton.

• Friday, Sept. 26: Pep Assembly 12:30 p.m. in the gym; Homecoming Parade 2 p.m.; Triangle Park Assembly 2:45 p.m.; football game vs. Amherst 7 p.m.; fireworks sponsored by the Manawa Athletic Booster Club.

• Saturday, Sept. 27: Homecoming Dance 8-11 p.m. in high school commons, grand march 9 p.m.; cost $5 per person, $9 per couple.
