W-F homecoming court announced

Homecoming week activities are under way this week at Weyauwega-Fremont High School, with school pride activities and themed dress up days all week long.

This year’s theme is “Famous Songs in Movies.”

This year’s homecoming court is freshmen representative Josie Bosquez, escorted by Blake Hudziak; sophomore representative Genna Knorr, escorted by Andy Bork; junior representative Ryanne Benz, escorted by Corey Schmidt; senior representative Mary Perket, escorted by Trevor Wetzel; and Homecoming Queen Jordan Krause, escorted by Homecoming King Carl Koch.

Thursday, Sept. 25 is Class Theme Day. For the seniors, that means “Let it Go-Frozen,” with it being “Happy-Despicable Me” for the juniors, “Shout it Out-Drumline” for the sophomores and “Raiders of the Lost Ark Theme-Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark” for the freshmen.

There will also be float building from 3:05 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the bus garage.

Friday, Sept. 26 is School Spirit Day, with the high school pep rally at 1 p.m., parade line up at about 1:45 p.m. and the parade at approximately 2 p.m.

The dance will be held from 8:30 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Sept. 27, in the high school commons.

Tickets are $5 for singles and $8 for couples.

It is a semi-formal dance, which means no jeans.

The crowning of the king and queen will be at 10:30 p.m.
