The season is over for the Waupaca girls’ golf team.
The Comets hosted a WIAA Division 1 regional Oct. 1 at Foxfire Golf Club and placed ninth.
Kimberly, De Pere, Hortonville and Kaukauna advanced as teams, as did individuals Lizzy Hidde, Sydney Maule and Megan Dangler of Appleton North and West De Pere’s Crystal Hill.
Team scores were Kimberly (351), De Pere (357), Hortonville (369), Kaukauna (371), Appleton North (378), West De Pere (381), Appleton East (430), Appleton West (444) and Waupaca (463).
Individual scores for Waupaca were Markie Ash (103), Natasha Hales (114), Alana Radley (122), Megan Reach (124) and Sydni Sondrol (129).
De Pere’s Megan Growt turned in the low round of the day with a 76.
