Fink, Timothy Richard

Timothy (Tim) R. Fink, age 54, of Fremont, formerly of Berlin, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning October 9, 2014 at the Weyauwega Health Care Center. 

Tim lived in Berlin from 1971 to 1987 and then Fremont from 2005 to 2012 and then his health failed and in nursing home care from 2013 to present. Tim was born on September 1, 1960 in Ripon, the son of Harold Robert and Lorraine Margaret (Strebe) Fink. Tim grew up on the family farm and went to grade school in Berlin through the fourth grade and then Fremont and graduated from Weyauwega High School. He did construction work in Milwaukee for a while and then worked as a welder and painter at Nelson Muffler of Wautoma, until the business closed and his health started failing and became very ill with diabetes. He loved to deer hunt with his brother Paul and their boys, he also enjoyed helping and visiting with his neighbors, and when he was a young boy and early adult he liked to make things out of Popsicle sticks. He looked forward to all of the family getting together, especially for Easter and Mother’s Day, his most important thing was spending time with his sons. 

He is survived by his mother, Lorraine Fink of Fremont; his sons, Nathan David (Liz) Fink of Montello and Ryan Timothy Fink of Wild Rose; his sisters, Joniella (David) Marefke of Berlin, Beverly (Keith) Yesse of Redgranite and brothers, David Fink of Fremont, Paul (Jane) Fink of Pine River and Scott Fink of Fremont; one grandson, Nathan David Fink Jr., also other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his father, Harold Robert Fink on September 9, 1995 and his aunts and uncles. 

A Funeral Service will be held at the Wiecki-Skipchak Funeral Home of downtown Berlin on Saturday October 18, 2014 at 11a.m. with the Pastor Scott Piper officiating and cremation will follow with inurnment at a later date at the Shead Island Cemetery, in the Town of Aurora, Waushara County. Relatives and friends may visit with the family and pay their respects to Tim on Friday October 17, 2014 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Wiecki-Skipchak Funeral Home of downtown Berlin and again on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. A luncheon and fellowship will immediately follow the service in the Funeral Home’s Handicap Accessible Family Center, and all are invited.
