Traffic stop leads to drug bust

Tori M. Clark, 20, Waupaca, is charged with possession of narcotics, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and five counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Shortly before midnight Tuesday, Nov. 4, Waupaca County Sheriff’s Deputy Bryan Strobusch was monitoring traffic on U.S. Highway 10 just east of Reek Road in rural Weyauwega when he clocked a car going 79 mph.

Strobusch made a traffic stop and noticed that the driver, identified as Clark, had slightly bloodshot eyes and appeared nervous. Strobusch requested that Deputy Nick Traeger bring his K-9 unit to the scene to check the vehicle.

While Strobusch was completing a warning citation for Clark, the dog alerted on the presence of narcotics.

The officers reported finding just under three grams each of heroin and crystal meth and just over two grams of marijuana.
