May L. Jones, (nee Colden). Age 101 years. Born to Life on May 16, 1913 in Iola, WI. Born to Eternal Life on December 8, 2014 at her home in Shorewood, WI.
Beloved wife of the late Malcom M. Jones. Loving mother of Jana L. Jones and the late Julie Ann Jones. Sister-in-law of Norma (Dale) Clark of Milwaukee and Mary Osborn of Lake Geneva. May was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Anna (Krueger) Colden, siblings, Leonard Colden, Verna Colden Weller, Julia Colden and six sister-in-laws. May was proud of being a great, great aunt and is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. May was a graduate of Iola High School, class of 1931 and was the last remaining member of that class. She worked at the Iola Hospital during the early 1940’s. May and Mac were married in Iola, WI on May 19, 1945 and soon moved to Milwaukee where Mac worked for the American Motor Company and May worked at Gimbels and Heinemans, downtown. They moved to Shorewood, WI in 1966. May was a member of Memorial Lutheran Church, Glendale and Our Savior Lutheran Church, Iola.
Visitation, 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 13 at Memorial Lutheran Church, 7701 N Green Bay Road, Glendale, WI 53209 followed by a Funeral Service at 3:00 PM. Interment will be in Our Savior Lutheran Cemetery, Scandinavia, WI. Memorials appreciated to Memorial Lutheran Church, Glendale or Our Savior Lutheran Church, Iola, WI
