A steady defense helped the Bulldogs hold down the Oconto Falls Panthers in a 39-16 victory at home Tuesday, Dec. 16.
New London had 28 rebounds, seven steals and six blocks defensively.
Offensively they took an early lead and held onto it throughout the game.
The Bulldogs led 11-8 after the first quarter and 19-12 at halftime.
The Bulldogs gave up only four points in the second half of the game, while scoring 20 of their own to finish the game, 39-16.
Leading scorers for New London were: Payton Mix 18, Leah Porath 8, Maddie Schroeder 6, Josie Hintzke 3, Macy Madsen and Alycia Halvorsen 2.
The Bulldogs improved their record to 5-2 in the Bay Conference.
New London will host Freedom on Tuesday, Dec. 23, and the undefeated Hortonville Polar Bears on Saturday, Jan. 3.
The Bulldogs resume conference action at Marinette on Tuesday, Jan. 6.
