Jerry I. Munsch, age 75, of Weyauwega, died on Monday, December 22, 2014 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca.
He was born on December 11, 1939 in New London, son of the late Marlyn and Wanda (Briggs) Munsch. Jerry graduated from Weyauwega High School in 1958. After high school, he went to trade school in Minneapolis and then joined the U.S. Air Force where he served for four years. Following the service, he worked in several jobs and retired in 2004. He enjoyed watching sports, riding motorcycles, and playing cards. For the last six years he’s resided at the Weyauwega Health Care Center, while struggling with several health problems.
He is the beloved brother of Jill (Leroy) Robbins and Susan (Jim) Abraham. He is further survived by nieces and nephews: Todd (Jill) Robbins, Cary (Kathy) Robbins, Dawn (Andy) Dupont, Kim (Mike) Dohm, Kyle Bockin, Brad Abraham, and many great-nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Jerry will be held on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega with Rev. Vilas Mazemke officiating. A gathering of family and friends will take place at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
