The Fox Valley Driving Horse Association will offer old-fashioned horse drawn sleigh rides in New London’s Hatten Park, Saturday, Feb. 21.
There is no charge to ride, however the group is asking participants to bring a non-perishable food item for the local food pantry.
“We wanted to get out and enjoy some nostalgic fun, and help stock the shelves of the pantry for those in need,” said Dean Peterson of New London, member of the Fox Valley Driving Horse Association.
The group will also accept money donations for the food pantry. Rides will begin at 11 a.m. and continue until 3 p.m. (weather permitting). Complimentary coffee, hot cocoa and warm apple cider will be served.
