Waupaca Realtor elected to WRA board

Jerry Lyons, broker-owner of Re/Max Lyons Real Estate, has been elected to serve as a regional elected director on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Realtors Association (WRA).

The WRA Board of Directors determines the strategic direction of the WRA and is the ultimate decision making body of the organization.

The board is comprised of 35 directors representing the three largest statewide companies, seven largest regional companies, 14 regional representatives, an executive committee, three past presidents/chairs, and three outside directors from non-real estate companies.

This is Lyons’ second stint on the WRA Board. He served two terms from 2008 through 2010 and served on the Executive Committee in 2009 and 2010.

Besides being a Realtor for more than 35 years, and owning and managing Re/Max Lyons Real Estate for more than 28 years, Lyons brings with him experience as a home builder, a land developer, a rental owner/manager and a condominium developer.

“It will be great to join with many of the state of Wisconsin’s top real estate experts again,” Lyons said. “The WRA represents not only the many practitioners in this important industry, but also the real property rights of all property owners in Wisconsin.”
