A large crowd of spectators gathered in downtown New London, Saturday, March 21 for the annual Grand Parade celebrating St. Patrick’s Day.
If the crowd was looking for a parade with plenty of participants, they got it. The parade lasted almost two hours and included almost 100 entries.
The New London Police Department got the parade started. The parade concluded with the South Shore Drill Team from Chicago putting on a dancing display throughout the parade route.
