Patricia Ann Smith (Looker), age 71, of Walker, MN, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Monday, April 6, 2015.
She was born on January 2, 1944, the daughter of the late John and Mildred (Ecke) Looker. Pat worked as an administrator at D&T Trucking in New Brighton, MN for 20 years, before retiring to Walker, MN. In her spare time, Pat enjoyed spending time with her family, tending to her beautiful flower garden and reading as many mystery novels as possible. She also loved to deck the house out for Christmas with her extensive Christmas knick knack and ornament collection. Pat was a beloved wife and mother, and she will be missed more than words can say.
She is survived by her husband, Arnold; three children, Christopher Looker, Michelle Moist and Danielle Billington; four grandchildren: Josh, Jenna, Jasmine and Jay Moist; a brother, Dennis Looker, Weyauwega; a sister-in-law, Claudette Looker, Fremont; a brother-in-law, James (LaVonne) Everson, Fremont; a special niece, Bethany (Karl) Wohlt, and their daughters, Makana and McKinlee; special nephews, Brian (Linda) Everson, Bradley Everson; other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Pat was preceded in death by two brothers, John “Casey” Looker, and Gary (Priscilla) Looker; two sisters, Sandy Everson and Diane (William) VanBoxtel; and a sister-in-law, Patricia Looker.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Lewin Funeral Home, Fremont. Pastor Alex Tychkin will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Fremont. Visitation will be held on Saturday, at the funeral home, from 1p.m. until the time of service.
