Arlyle Kriesel, age 86, of New London, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Residence in New London, with her loving family by her side.
She was born on September 24, 1928 to the late Alvin and Hulda (Prellwitz) Kutzleb. Arlyle was united in marriage to Marvin Kriesel on January 24, 1948. He preceded her in death in 2009. Arlyle enjoyed crocheting, quilting and gardening. She was formerly employed at the Toy Factory in Hortonville. Arlyle is survived by her daughter, Connie (Lee) Menting, Greenville; three sons, Dale (Kay) Kriesel, New London; Larry Kriesel (special friend Penny Hackbarth), New London and David (Nancy) Kriesel, Hortonville. Arlyle is also survived by nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, one sister and a son Glenn.
Funeral services for Arlyle will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in the Township of Ellington (W6399 Cty. Rd. O, Appleton). Friends and family may also call from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the church. Interment will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
