The Waupaca American Legion and Auxiliary has announced its top 10 youth essay winners.
Children in grades third through eighth were invited to submit essays relating to “What Does Freedom Mean To My Family.”
The winners by age group were: Class I, grade 3 – Anna Auer, Connor Jones , Blake Helbach and Mark Reinke; Class II, grades 5-6 – Jeremiah Auer, Brooke Peterson and Bryce Greiling; Class III, grades 7-8 – Justine Panzenhagen, Gunner Tripp and Asher Wright.
