The second annual Mom Prom event is schedule to take place in New London on Friday, May 8.
The event is for women ages 18 and up, and will be held at Crystal Falls Banquet Hall. A dinner for those with advance tickets starts at 6 p.m. Those who didn’t purchase advance tickets can still attend the event for the dance and raffle starting at 7:45 p.m. The cost to attend the dance and raffle is $15.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to Gabe and his family.
Their lives were changed forever on July 26, 2014 when Gabe was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Since his diagnosis he has been receiving in-home treatments and travels every 10 days for maintenance therapy.
Weight gain, muscle fatigue, and sickness are a few of the side effects he deals with because of this disease.
