Johnson breaks invite record

Clintonville’s Allison Johnson set the meet record in the girls’ 800 meter run at the 35th annual Seymour Thunder Track Invitational on May 7.

Johnson finished the race with a time of 2:17.77. The previous record of 2.19.10 was set in 1990.

Sixteen teams competed in the invitational.

The Truckers finished in seventh place overall with 34 points.

The Polar Bears finished in eighth place overall with 33 points.

The Hortonville boys’ team placed ninth overall with 26.5 points, and Clintonville finished in tenth place overall with 24 points.

Clintonville girls’ individual results

Ali Johnson earned 10 team points with her first place finish in the 800 meter run in 2.17.77.

Jessica Petruzates earned five team points with a fifth place finish in the 3200 meter run in 12:15.50.

Chrissy Betz earned eight team points with her second place finish in the 100-meter hurdles event in 17.43.

The 4×100 meter relay team of Chrissy Betz, Autumn Voight, Emma Weatherwax, and Jessie Barker earned five team points with their fourth place finish in 53.13.

The 4×400 meter relay team of Autumn Voight, Taylor Young, Emma Weatherwax and Ali Johnson earned a team point with an eighth place finish in 4:28.02.

Ali Johnson earned 3.5 team points with her first place finish, clearing five feet in the high jump event.

Chrissy Betz earned 1.5 team points with her seventh place finish, clearing nine feet in the pole vault event.

Hortonville girls’ individual results

Claire Van Beek earned six team points with her third place finish in the 400-meter dash in 1:01.43. Van Beek earned four team points in the 200-meter dash finishing fifth in 28.33.

Hannah Lohrenz earned four team points in the 800-meter dash finishing fifth in 2:25.81. Teammate Emma Rafuse earned one team point with a time of 2:28.01 for eighth place.

Hannah Lohrenz earned eight team points with her second place in the 1600 meter run in 5:27.40.

Emma Rafuse earned five team points with her fourth place finish the 1600 meter in 5:35.93.

The 4×400-relay team of Emma Rafuse, Emily Lasinski, Hannah Lohrenz, and Claire Van Beek, scored five team points with their fifth place finish in 4:12.07.

Clintonville boys’ individual results

Todd Taylor earned six team points with his third place finish in the 100-meter dash in 12.03. Taylor also earned four team points in the 200-meter dash with his fifth place finish in 23.60.

The 4×100 meter relay team of Nick Raasch, Joe Pockat, Skyler Lehman and Todd Taylor earned three team points with their sixth place finish in 45.68.

Skyler Lehman earned five team points in the pole vault event clearing 11-feet. Lehman earned two team points in the high jump event clearing 5-10 for seventh place.

Todd Taylor earned four team points in the triple jump event with a distance of 42-02.75 for fifth place.

Hortonville boys’ individual results

Cody Lohrenz earned six team points with his third place finish in the 400-meter dash in 51.02.

Mitchell Gerhartz earned a team point for his eighth place finish in the 100-meter dash in 12.36.

Trevor Coenen earned a team point for his eighth place finish in the 300-meter hurdles in 43.63.

The 4×100 meter relay team of Blake Heimmermann, Kyle Weisshahn, Cody Lohrenz and Mitchell Gerhartz earned two team points with their seventh place finish in 45.83.

The 4×400 meter relay team of Blake Soto, Blake Heimmermann, Nathan Lichtfuss, and Cody Lohrenz earned four team points with their fifth place finish in 3:37.37.

Jacob Guyette earned eight team points in the shot put event with his second place throw of 53-03.00.

Blake Soto earned one team point with his eighth place finish in the triple jump event with a distance of 40-08.75.
