Malouf, Arthur R.

Arthur “Art” Malouf, age 69, New London, was born to Eternal life May 24, 2015, due to complications with Congestive Heart Failure. He was in the place he loved most, spending the weekend with some family at his cottage in Bowler, WI.

Art was born in Milwaukee, on March 5, 1946, son of the late Winfred and Maxine (Lemke) Malouf. He lived a full happy life surrounded by people who loved him. He was very active in the community attending many town meetings and part of The Wolf River Men’s club. He loved to spend time with those he loved, golf, fish, hunt, go up north to the cabin, play cards, and drink coffee with his buddies. He was one of the best men you could ever meet. Always treating those he met like family and willing to help out with whatever he could. He was a successful business owner/entrepreneur for 50+ years, formerly running Bean City and Arts Repair Service.

He is survived by his children: daughter, Nicky; sons, Eric and Travis; two grandchildren, Kaleb and Kenzie; sisters, Maxine Schilder, Pamela (James) Larsen, Bonnie Standke, and brothers, Darwin (Julie), Walter (Lori), Richard (Louise), and Joseph (Beverly). He was preceded in death by his mother Maxine, and brothers, Mike, Buddy, and Butch.

Funeral services for Art will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, New London with Rev. Marcus Schulz officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2015 from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home and also Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
