Borchardt, Bonnie Lou (Wangelin)

Bonnie Lou (Wangelin) Borchardt, age 70, of Weyauwega went to her heavenly home on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca.

She was born on December 27, 1944 in New London, daughter of the late Lawrence and Irene (Knoke) Wangelin. Bonnie graduated from Weyauwega Union High School in 1963. She worked at Benson Corporation in Weyauwega for over 35 years, then at Lakeview Manor for a short time. Bonnie loved gardening, canning, fishing, and her special animals Blossom and MeMe. She was a member of St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega.

She is survived by her husband, Gale, Weyauwega; sister, Barbara (Donald) Pankratz; brothers, Donald (Diane) Wangelin and Douglas Wangelin; nieces and nephews: Jeffrey (Sue) Pankratz, Tamara (Jerome) Mortimer, Randall (Sarah) Pankratz, Stacey (Ken) Pankratz, Gregg Wangelin, Angel (Rob) Johnson, Amy (Mike) Luellen, Douglas (Regina) Wangelin Jr.; also great-nieces and nephews, one great-great-neice and many wonderful neighbors and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Elmer Miller and a brother, Bruce Wangelin.

A memorial service for Bonnie will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega, with Rev. Newlin Schafer and Rev. Dennis Lemke officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega. A gathering of family and friends will take place directly at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. The Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega is serving the family.
