Francisco J. Lopez-Puertas, 35, Weyauwega, is charged with first-degree sexual assault of a child, second-degree sexual assault of a child and repeated sexual assault of the same child.
On May 27, Detective Sgt. James Gorman, with the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office, interviewed a 13-year-old girl who accused Lopez-Puertas of asking her to drink alcohol and touching her inappropriately several times over the past three years.
According to the criminal complaint, Lopez-Puertas told Gorman that he had touched the girl’s private parts by accident.
He is currently being held in custody on a $10,000 cash bond.
