Tour features seven gardens, local artists
Waupaca County Master Gardeners will host this summer’s Garden Walk and Art Stroll from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 27.
The tour features seven area gardens, ranging from working farms to small cottage gardens, as well as local artists at each site. The event will take place rain or shine.
Rob Zimmer, a gardener, photographer and writer for Outdoors, will present “Garden Style: New Plants and Trends for 2015” at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Crystal River Inn, one of the Garden Walk sites.
Tickets to the Garden Walk cost $10 and are available at each garden. Proceeds will help fund the Waupaca County Master Gardeners program.
Master Gardeners are volunteers who work with the University of Wisconsin Extension Office to provide community-based education for children and adults about horticulture and the environment.
