Carlene Jane (Pribbernow) Allen, age 77, New London went to her heavenly home on Friday, June 19, 2015.
She was born on May 13, 1938 in New London, daughter of the late Carl and Margaret (Arndt) Pribbernow. Carlene was a lifelong resident of New London. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London. Carlene spent her life caring for others.
She is survived by her children: Peter (Elizabeth) Allen, Daphne, Alabama; Mike Allen, Oshkosh; Jenny (Dave) Lenz, New London; grandchildren: Stephen Switala, Gabe and Sammy Allen; sisters: Orian (Daryl) Fonstad, Wauwatosa; Lois Holloway, Green Bay; Sandy (Dick) Schultz, Waupaca. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother in-law, Don Holloway.
The Christian Funeral for Carlene will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Emanuel Ev. Lutheran Church in New London with Rev. Marcus Schulz officiating. Burial will be in Floral Hill Cemetery, New London. A visitation for Carlene will be held on Monday, June 23, 2015 from 4:30-7:00 p.m. at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London and also at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
