Hortonville’s parade route changed

New route circles high school due to bridge construction

Residents and visitors will experience a new parade route and picnic site for this year’s Fourth of July celebration in Hortonville.

The day’s activities begin with a parade at noon Saturday, July 4.

New route
Parade line-up will begin at the intersections of Warner Street and Towne Drive and proceed west to North Oak Street.

From the intersection, the parade will turn right onto North Olk Street, proceed to North Nash Street, and then proceed to Warner Street past Aiken Field. The parade will continue on Warner Street past the elementary and middle school to Alonzo Park.

Parking
Parking on streets along the parade route is restricted for the duration of the parade.

Parking is available at Commercial Club Park, Ellington Mutual, Hortonville Municipal Building, Hortonville Elementary and Middle School, SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church and Wolf River Community Bank.

New picnic site
The parade will end at Alonzo Village Park, the site of this year’s Fourth of July Picnic. Food, refreshments, and family entertainment will run from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
