James Pappenfus, age 55 of New London, died at Theda Care-New London Hospital on July 25, 2015.
James was born December 28, 1959 in St. Paul Minnesota to Leonard and Arlene Pappenfus. Jim worked at Granite Valley Forest Products in New London. He enjoyed spending time with his family, as well as fishing, hunting, motorcycle riding and camping.
Jim is survived by his sons, James and Scott Stiebs, New London; siblings, Clifford (Nancy) Pappenfus, Kathy (Darrell) Niebolte-Lempke, Bob (Deb) Pappenfus, Tom Pappenfus, Danny (Nancy Zimmerman) Pappenfus and Nancy (Boone) Bentley all of Minnesota. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Jim is preceded in death by his parents; the love of his life, SuzAnne Tranter; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A gathering of family and friends to celebrate the life of Jim will be held on Friday, August 21, 2015, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Cline and Hanson Funeral Home, 209 W. Cook Street, New London.
