Truck crash closes State 110

A semitrailer overturned shortly after 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, in Manawa.

According to Manawa Police Officer Jeremiah Johnson, a truck from Sturm Foods was turning left from Union Street onto Bridge Street (State Highway 110) when its load shifted, causing the trailer to flip.

The driver of the vehicle was injured and transported to an area hospital.

State 110 in Manawa was closed to through-traffic in both directions for more than five hours.

Manawa Fire Department and Adams Towing of Plover were on the scene until after 9:15 p.m. to remove the truck and clean up debris.
