James M. Allen Sr. of New London, age 78, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2015.
He was born in Lily, WI on December 8, 1936 to the late Russell and Mae (Thayer) Allen.
Jim served his country in the US Marine Corp. In 1986 he married Elizabeth “Betty” Meyer. Jim had ten children, seven of which are from previous relationships. He is survived by his wife: Betty; children: James Jr (fiancée, Tiffany), Patrick (Sarah), Mary, Lisa, Tracy, Matt, Joe, Amy, Dan and Jeff; siblings: Don, Patsy, Judy, Angie and Gary; grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers.
The Memorial Visitation will be on Sunday, August 23, 2015 from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. with Military Honors at 2 p.m. at Jim’s home, 2060 Southland Lane, New London. The Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
