Man’s identity remains unknown
Waupaca police reported finding a body on the city’s north side.
At 7:10 p.m. Tuesday, police were dispatched to the Elm Street dam, located on the Waupaca River east of Harrison Street.
When they arrived, they found the body of a man that investigators estimate to be 25 to 35 years old.
“We are currently working to identify the man,” Detective Sgt. Brian Hoelzel said Wednesday. “We don’t suspect foul play.”
Authorities have arranged for an autopsy to help identify the man and the cause of death.
