Hortonville crash injures New London woman

A four-vehicle crash injured a  woman over the weekend on State Highway 15 east of Greendale Road.

Tanya Sue Pietro, 35, New London, was transported to ThedaCare Medical Center-New London for non-life threatening injuries. Keara Lee Gosz, 20, of Neenah, was also injured but refused transport.

According to a Wisconsin State Patrol news release:

At 10:25 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, Gosz’s car was stopped to make a left turn into the driveway of N2573 Highway 15 when it was struck from behind by a car driven by Matthew J. Carpenter, 40, of New London.

Gosz’s car was pushed into the path of an eastbound car occupied by driver Neal S. Pietro, 38, of Waupaca, and passenger Tanya Pietro. The Pietros’ car came to rest in the southern ditch.

Gosz’s car then spun back into the westbound lane where it struck a pickup driven by Dylan M. Wolf, 22, of Neenah. The pickup was stopped when it was struck.

All parties were wearing seatbelts, and no alcohol was involved.
