Ann Marie Schowalter, 88, of Jackson, passed away on October 18, 2015 at Kathy Hospice in West Bend, WI.
She was born February 3, 1927 to the late David and Ann Marie Rath (Raugust) in Webster, SD. She graduated from West Bend High and from Wartburg College in 1949. She married Quintin Schowalter in 1950. She lived in Marion, WI from 1962-1966 when her husband served as pastor to St. Paul ‘s Dupont Lutheran Church and St. Peter’s in Big Falls.
Ann Marie leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband Quintin, their children Karlene Schowalter of Oak Park, IL, John (Vanessa) Schowalter of Champaign, IL, and Frieda Schowalter of Madison, WI; grandchildren Allana (Michael) Miller, Carrie and Rachel Schiff (Ladd Arundel), Hans and Emily Barkei.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 1 at 3:00 p.m. at St John’s Lutheran Church, 2881 Division Road, Jackson, WI. The family will greet relatives and friends at the church from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kathy Hospice, 3232 Pleasant Valley Road, West Bend WI 53095.
