Gorges, Sean

Sean Andrew Gorges, 24, passed away unexpectedly on December 1, 2015.

He was born in Neenah on May 24, 1991 to Philip Gorges and Maggie Coenen. Sean was a graduate of Clintonville High School. He served his country after high school. Sean was a gifted poet; he charmed the world with his quick wit and big smile. He loved to play video games, longboard, or just hang out with his siblings. Sean was loved by all who met him for his kind heart, often caring more for others than himself. No matter what his struggles, he would be there first for those in need.

Sean is survived by his father, Philip Gorges (Lavaun) New London; mother, Maggie Coenen (fiancé Tim Russell), Clintonville; his sister, Amber-Ann Quaintance (Joshua) Marshfield; brothers, Doniven and Jadyn Coenen at home; stepsister, Vanessa Woodley (Chris Woodley), Cadillac, MI; grandmother, Margaret Fotherby, Prescott Valley, AZ; grandmother, Joyce Woldt, Waupaca; his special friend, Randi Ader, Appleton as well as two nephews, his beloved dog Bella, and many cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Victor Gorges; maternal grandfather, Earl Brasch Sr. and grandpa William Fotherby.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Greenville, with Rev. Nate Reichle officiating. A gathering of family and friends will take place at the church on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
