Traffic
• Nov. 28 – A teenager was injured in a one-vehicle rollover at about noon in the town of Bear Creek.
Emily Herman, 19, of Appleton, was southbound on U.S. Highway 45 and negotiating a curve near Silver Creek Road when her vehicle entered the west gravel portion of the roadway.
Herman attempted to re-correct, but failed to regain control. The vehicle entered the west ditch, where it rolled over and came to rest on its wheels.
• Nov. 27 – A teenager was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 4 p.m. in the town of Fremont.
McKenna Westerhouse, 19, of Plover, was driving eastbound on U.S. Highway 10 when she said she fell asleep.
The vehicle crossed through the median and into the westbound lane of traffic. It then entered the north ditch where it struck a fence and a fence post.
The driver was cited for inattentive driving.
• Nov. 25 – A woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 5:30 a.m. in the town of Little Wolf.
Sonia Mendiola, 47, of Manawa, was driving southbound on County Trunk B near Heinke Road when she lost control of the vehicle on the ice-covered road. The vehicle flipped over in a field adjacent to the roadway.
Mendiola was ejected from the vehicle.
