The Clintonville boys’ basketball team lost by two points to Wittenberg-Birnamwood in a nonconference game on Dec. 22.

Losing by 10 points 39-29 at the half, the Clintonville Truckers outscored the Chargers 28-20 in the second half but lost 59-57.

Each team recorded 18 turnovers. The Truckers had 18 personal fouls while the Chargers had nine.

Clintonville junior Nathan Krueger topped the scoring with 23 points.

Clintonville junior Tyler Petermann ties for second in the North Eastern Conference in steals (10) and is third in assists (16). He ties for fourth in rebounds (33).

Krueger is third in the conference for rebounds (36) and ties for fifth in steals (nine) with Clintonville senior Damon Lorge. Krueger is fifth in the conference for points scored (73).

The boys rank fourth in the conference out of 10 teams with a 2-2 record.
