The Denmark Vikings handed the Waupaca Comets a 68-38 loss Jan. 21 in a matchup of North Eastern Conference girls’ basketball teams in Waupaca.
The visiting Vikings closed the first half with an 11-0 to take a 35-14 lead at the break and outscored Waupaca 33-24 in the second half.
Victoria Nowak led Waupaca with 27 points, while Ashley Leiterman scored 24 to lead Denmark.
