R. Maxine Lowe, age 93, of Waupaca passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Crossroads Care Center-Crystal River.
Maxine was born in Independence, Iowa on September 29, 1922, the daughter of the late Ralph and Eleanor (Hamsing) Lowe. She worked for many years in Racine in the newspaper industry before retiring to Waupaca. For the past 15 years she made Park Vista her home before going to Crossroads Care Center.
Maxine is survived by her brother, Russell Lowe Sr., Waupaca and also many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Service will be on Monday, February 8 at 1 p.m. at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca with Pastor Jeff Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Crystal Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday afternoon from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Maxine’s family wishes to thank both the staffs at Park Vista and Crossroads Care Center for the wonderful care given to her. Holly Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements
