The Truckers held a six point lead with two minutes to go in the first half, but FVL fought back to tie the game at 28-28 by halftime.

Luxemburg-Casco 94, Clintonville 58
LUXEMBURG-CASCO – The Truckers traveled to face the conference leading Luxemburg-Casco Spartans on Friday, Feb. 19.

Clintonville kept pace with the 16-1 Spartans in the first half, but fell 94-58 by the game’s end.

“We played a pretty good first half and maintained a tempo we were comfortable with. I thought it should have been only a 2 or 4 point difference in the first half,” said Clintonivlle Head Coach Shawn Howe.

“In the second half, Luxemburg-Casco controlled the tempo and we didn’t do a very good job of keeping composure. We shot over 53 percent but you have to get stops and limit their attempts,” siad Howe. The Spartans attempted almost 70 shots in the game.

Leading scorers: Tyler Petermann 17, Nathan Krueger 12, Sean Finger 9, Damon Lorge 8, Noah Hartleben 4, Jordan Koeppen 3, Sam Wittman 3, Kyle Finger 2.

Games ahead
The Truckers (4-13) host Marinette (6-10) on Thursday, Feb. 25 to end the regular season, and then opens up Division 2 Regional play at Bonduel on Tuesday, March 1.
