Lorraine A. DiLeonardo, age 71, of McHenry, Illinois, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2016 at her home with her family by her side.
Lorraine was born on September 7, 1944 in Chicago, the daughter of Francesco and Winifred (Sternolda) DiLeonardo. Lorraine was employed at Sterns Foods and Krause Publications for many years. She was an avid golfer and billiards enthusiast. She found joy in mystery movies and reading. RV camping with family and friends was an event Lorraine also enjoyed.
She is survived by her sister Marie (Christopher) Hickey, her nieces and nephews: Winefred (Bill) Quinn, Catherine (John) Conroy, John (Michelle) Hickey, Joseph (Anita) Hickey, Francesca (Mike Chiodo) Brogan, Frank (Karen) Hickey, Christopher (Margie) Hickey, William (Deborah) Brogan, her good friends, Karen Peters and Wanda Lee. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Annette (William “Bill”) Brogan, and a good friend Nancy Oman.
Funeral Services were held at Colonial Funeral Home & Crematory, McHenry IL.
