Traffic
• March 4 – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 7 p.m. in the town of Farmington.
Meredith Miller, 48, of Scandinavia, was driving northbound on State Highway 49 near Smokey Valley Road when she lost control of her vehicle on the snow-covered roadway.
The Miller vehicle crossed the center line and sideswiped a vehicle driven by David Vial, 62, of Scandinavia. After the impact, the Vial vehicle struck a mailbox.
Miller was transported to the hospital for non-incapacitating injuries.
A passenger in the Vial vehicle, Susan Vial, 60, of Scandinavia, was transported to the hospital for incapacitating injuries.
David Vial and a 16-year-old passenger in the Miller vehicle were not injured.
