Manawa and Iola-Scandinavia’s softball teams gave their fans plenty to cheer about April 11 in their first of two matchups this season.
Manawa scored the game’s first four runs, but the Thunderbirds came back to hand the Wolves a 13-11 loss in Manawa.

Manawa took a 4-0 lead into the third inning, but the T-Birds came up with five runs to take a 5-4 lead in the fourth.
The T-Birds eventually built a 13-8 lead. Skye Amador’s three-run home run in the bottom of the seventh cut the deficit to two runs, but the Wolves couldn’t get any closer.
