Redemann, Michael Evan

RedmannMichael E. Redemann 71, Town of Winter, died on Friday, April 22, 2016 at his home.

He was born on February 3, 1945 in New London, WI, the son of Evan and Maxine (Swift) Redemann. He attended and graduated from Weyauwega/Fremont High School, Class of 1963. He married Joyce Kent on August 26, 1966 in Weyauwega, WI. They celebrated over 49 years of marriage

He served in the Wisconsin National Guard from 1966 -1972. He was employed in road construction and then by the Waupaca Highway Department from 1984 until the time of his retirement in 2005. Following their retirement they made their home in the Town of Winter. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and doing taxidermy projects. He also was an accomplished woodworker making many pieces of handcrafted furniture.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce, Town of Winter; by two daughters, Jill (Michael) Felske, Pine River, WI, and Susan (Michael) McGlin, Fremont, WI; by three grandchildren, Kiley, Megan, and Conor; by one brother, Jim Redemann, Fremont; by one sister-in-law, Sharon Redemann, Madison, WI, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; by two brothers, Eugene “Pat” and Christopher “Tuffy” and by one sister-in-law, Christine Redemann.

A gathering of family and friends will take place at a later date.

The Heindl Funeral Home, Phillips, is in charge of the arrangements.
