He will also reunite with Norm Dombrowski and there will be lots of polkas playing in Heaven. He was also preceded in death by his second wife, Patricia (Boutwell) Dombrowski in 1995.

Mike worked hard all of his life. He grew up on the farm and eventually began working at the Waupaca Foundry. He worked there for over 30 years. He retired from the foundry in January, 1997. Since his retirement he enjoyed planting his gardens, feeding the birds, deer and turkeys and spending time visiting family. He will be remembered as the man who is always smiling. He took great pride decorating his yard by planting flowers and trees.

Mike has chosen cremation. The Holly Funeral Home, Waupaca is helping the family with arrangements. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, Waupaca on Wednesday June 1, 2016 with Father Amalraj Roche officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., with the Mass at 11a.m.. Private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to ThedaCare Hospice or St. Mary Magdalene’s Fellowship Wing.

A special Thank you to Dr. Huder and all of the wonderful Nursing Staff on 2 South and 5 South at ThedaCare, Neenah where he was treated with respect and caring.
