Crash on U.S. 10

The westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 10 between Weyauwega and the Waupaca State 22/54 bypass were detoured for two hours Tuesday night following a two-vehicle crash.

Shortly before 6:30 p.m. June 7, an eastbound vehicle driven by Maxwell J. Bauer, with two passengers, Kaeley Erickson and Timothy W. Harris, entered the ditch line of U.S. 10 near Vaughn Road.

According to the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office, the vehicle struck a traffic sign, swerved back onto the highway, crossed both eastbound lanes and the median, then struck a westbound vehicle, driven by Michael S. Hudziak.

All parties involved were transported to ThedaCare Waupaca for treatment of their injuries, then released.
